For the 90st Birthday of Jean le Bûcheron, the Amis
de Fromulus gave it a son : Jacobus
!
The International Summer Carnival celebrated the birth
of the new giant, and gathered 1000 young artists from 8
countries.
According to all (audience and groups), it was an
exceptional festival and a great success !
On the friday
evening, took place the opening evening

With a performance by a group of 40 teenagers from the Cjek
Republic : javornicek.
The second group to perform was from Bulgaria: Loudogortche.
The age average of the children was 12. They danced and sang
during one hour on stage.
The audience was very pleased of the show. |
On the Saturday,
Jacobus did his first public appearance and in then there was
another evening show !

It was a great day !
Jacobus was very successful, and the groups
which performes were again excellent.
During the evening, both the Jeugdorkest from
Knegsel (Holland) and the Ballochleam Highland dancers (from the
Falkirk area in Scottland) charmed the audience. The scottish
girls were just very lively and really impressed the audience fro
they were so young and yet so good ! |

Sunday was the main
day of the festival with the parade

The variety and the young
age of the performers pleased the crowd and everyone had a
fantastic day ! |
