Past festivals

Since 1913 the Friends fo Fromulus have organised each year at Steenvoorde the Summer Carnival.This event has become over the years the most colourful event of French Flander and gather groups of exceptional quality.

This Carnival is cancelled every six year because of a European Procession of Dancing Giants.

Occasionally, on top of the Carnival, the Friends of Fromulus organise the "Hop Festival" on the first week end of October. The last time the frineds of Fromulus organised this festival, they did not keep Hop as the topic of the event but worked on what they called "The Celtic Soul". Indeed, there is scarcely any hop left at Steenvoorde so it seemed judicious to change the topic (though the original name of Hop Festival remained).
