A new giant is born at Steenvoorde:
Jacobus, son of Jean le Bûcheron.
He is 2.50 meters high and weighs 15 kilos
He is carried by a child
|

He was built in Spain by the craftsman Ramon aumedes
form Granollers.
His face was designed in the likeness of a Spanish
child. Yet, being form the North, he has blond hair and blue eyes !

He first came out on Saturday
24th April 2004 at Steenvoorde during the International Summer Carnival.
|
|
Jacobus has a team of 15 youngsters around him, 12 of them can carry him
to make him dance and three children of 4 preceed him.
