27, 28 et 29 avril 2012 : 5ème Ronde Européenne de Géants Portés de Steenvoorde

Friday 27th april 2012 : Opening evening !

* 20h00 under a giant marquee : musical show: "La France En Chansons"  7 musicians and about thirty singers A 2 hours show about French Song

Saturday 28th april 2012 : Foreign Giants in the spotlight !

* Animations all afternoon !   * From 14h00: Putting up together and dressing of the giants   * 15h00 : Firts giants' parade (50 - 55 giants !)   * 16h30 : Final Presentation of the giants and "Bal" (dancing) by the catalan giants   * 20h00 : folk night in the giant marquee with concerts by the music bands that will be accompanying the giants. Catering in the marquee (see details here: infos pratiques...)

* gigantic or non gigantic Animations all day.

* From 10h : Setting up of the French, Belgian and Dutch giants. The highest giant Jan Turpijn will be on the Grand Place Norbert Ségard, it is so high we have to hire a crane for it to be built up !

* 15h : departure of the main parade with 100 dancing giants

* Final Presentation of the giants on the Grand Place N ségard. this presentation will end with a final danse of all the giants together

* 21h30 : "Correfoc" by the "Drac del Cabrot", giant from Catalonia.
