Jacobus first appeared in public in April 2004.
It represents the son of the character Jean le Bûcheron.
It is 2.50 meters high and weighs 15 kilos.
It was built in Spain by the craftsman Ramon Aumedes from SARANDACA – Granollers.
Its face was crafted in the likeness of a Spanish child. Yet, being form the North, it has blond hair and blue eyes !
Its godmother is the giantess “La Belle Hélène” from Steenvoorde and Its godfather is “Le Père Breughel” from Neuve Église (B).
Jacobus has a team of 15 youngsters around him who relay undeneath its skirt to make it dance.
